WILMINGTON, NC –New Hanover Regional Medical Center would like to thank Atlantic Marine and She Rocks for a generous donation of $10,000 to the NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center.
Atlantic Marine donated a portion of its sales to She Rocks for the benefit of NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center patients battling any form of the disease.
“Cancer has touched the lives of some of my closest friends and family.” said David Floyd, president of Atlantic Marine. “It’s my hope that this donation will touch someone in need. We love this community and look forward to being able to do more in the future.”
She Rocks Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising money for ovarian cancer research and providing local support to those affected by all cancers. She Rocks accepted the Atlantic Marine donation, and through the NHRMC Foundation, will donate the funds to the NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center for the purchase of AccuVein illumination devices. This vein-finding technology helps reduce the pain and discomfort some patients experience in the administering of vital treatments.
“We are grateful to Atlantic Marine and She Rocks for their generosity and support,” said Henry Hawthorne, administrator of oncology at NHRMC Zimmer Cancer Center. “It is tremendous to have members of our own community contribute at this level and it solidifies their belief in the high standard of care we provide our patients right here at home.”
Opened in 1976 as a small dealership at Wrightsville Beach, Atlantic Marine has grown to be a four-site, full-service dealer and marina as well as the Carolinas’ largest Grady-White dealer. For more information, visit www.atlanticmarinesales.com.
She Rocks is a 501c3 started in 2014 to raise awareness and funding for ovarian cancer research and support for those with cancer. For more information, visit http://she-rocks.org.

TWO IN STOCK – 2016 GRADY-WHITE 191 COASTAL EXPLORER
Just introduced earlier this year, and joining its bigger sister the 251 CE that was introduced last season, the new 191 CE is an entry-level boat that is far from ordinary. Since she sports Grady’s proven over-engineered lineage, the 191 CE is built tough like her sibling, but she’s just 5-1/2 feet shorter. The mission of the Coastal Explorer boats is to be true to their namesake, to go just about anywhere and do just about anything you and your family have on the coastal waterway agenda. The layout of the 191 CE is utilitarian, but is not lacking the requisite creature comforts to keep you and your crew comfy during a full day out on the water.
Just arrived, the 2016 Parker 2100 Big Bay in Ice Blue gel coat. The boat features a Yamaha F200XB four stroke in-line four cylinder motor to deliver impressive reliable power with similar weight and size to the Yamaha F150XB.
Also found aboard the 2100 Big Bay are a deluxe lean bar with flip up bolster, marine stereo with Bluetooth, forward casting platform with recessed cooler, bow cushions, trim tab indicators, and blue LED underwater lights.
In-house financing is available making this boat extremely affordable at $415/month with a 10% down payment, for qualifying buyers. Please see our staff for more details regarding financing.
